Outfitted for the Wild

Sitting at the doorstep of Glacier National Park, this West Glacier outdoor store needed to feel like an extension of the landscape it serves – not just a store. We built the layout around a pairing of our Astoria and Burnside fixture collections, two lines that look distinct but share interchangeable accessories, keeping the merchandising cohesive from front to back. At the entrance, Astoria tables set the tone immediately – rock cages packed with river stones and cross braces that bring a rugged, lodge-like feel right from the door. A Burnside wall system, mounted in front of a warm wood wall, gives the footwear department a clean, grounded backdrop that lets the product shine. For sleeping bags, the team chose a hanging display – a practical solution that keeps bags off the floor and out of their stuff sacks, so they’re easy to browse and actually visible to shoppers. The result is a space worthy of the peaks just beyond the front door.
